So I stopped by CVS before the ortho this morning. Thankfully the appointment went well and she's not in too much pain (yet). I think the most paintful part will be having to refrain from some of her Halloween candy. Sigh.
So I went to CVS in search of the Toy Story 3 DVD. My 5 yo loved this movie at the theatre, and has been asking ever since when it was coming out. Here's what I bought:
1 Package Charmin, $9.99. Used 0.25/1 from 10/31 PG
1 Bounty, $6.99. There's a 0.50/1 in the 10/31 PG, but I forgot mine!
4 Puffs, $3.88. Used four 0.25/1 from the 10/31 PG
5 Dawn Hand Renewal, $4.85. Used five 0.50/1 fromthe 10/31 PG
1 Cold Buster, $8.99
1 Toy Story 3 DVD, 3.99 (with $16 instant savings for buying the PG products).
Total after coupons was $37.36. Paid with $9.98 in ECB and $27.38 on several gift cards. Got $8.99 ECB back for the Cold Buster, for a net cost of $28.37. I was happy to do this deal at CVS. I was going to purchase the Toy Story 3 DVD anyway, and because I've recently filled some prescriptions, I had a bunch of CVS gift cards to use up. My net OOP was zero, which always makes me happy ☺
If I just wanted the Toy Story 3 DVD, I probably would have bought it from Amazon here (Toy Story 3), where it's just $15.99 (plus shipping, unless you get your cart up to $25 or have Amazon prime).
Just wondering. I know you have to spend $25 on P&G products to get the $16 coupon for toy story..is the $25 before you use coupons, or after.
ReplyDeleteThe $25 is before coupons. I probably could have still received the $16 off on the DVD with one less Dawn, but I was in a hurry and didn't want to risk it. CVS doesn't usually quibble over the pennies on deals like this.
