I'm having my Girl Scout troop over this afternoon to make pumpkin pie, so my DH decided to get out of the house for a little while. He headed down to Dollar General, where the Libby's canned vegetables were on sale 3/$1. Using our $1/3 coupons from the 8/29 RP, he was able to pick up all these veggies for free! Well, almost. Each order cost him 2 or 3 cents (seemed to be random which one!).
The cashier couldn't have been nicer to him. She explained that he did have to break up the order into sets of 3 cans in order to use the coupon. She patiently did this for him and at the end, thanked HIM for being patient! I just love a coupon-friendly store!
