How Much Can You Save?

spending.

I've been tracking our monthly spending for a little over a year. Included in the monthly totals are groceries, paper products, medicines, pet food, diapers, and cleaning supplies. You can see that before I started couponing, our bills averaged about $750/month. Now our bills are closer to $350/month, and our family is eating better than ever. The month of December is missing because my husband gives me the gift of not keeping track during this busy month. Can you guess by the graph that I started couponing in September of 2009?

Sometimes it may seem that couponing isn't worth it, just to save a dollar here or there. But over time the savings add up! HappyHomemakerCindy says to view your coupons as cash. When you look at them that way, you'll never forget to take them to the store with you!
